Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has announced the exciting launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to be released on April 23rd. This update marks the thrilling conclusion of Season 1, promising to unravel the mysteries and deliver compelling story arcs.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

Version 1.7 will finally shed light on the enigma surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players, as Proxies, will delve deep into Vivian’s intricate backstory, while Hugo’s fate, once shrouded in mystery, will be fully disclosed.

After Hugo's dramatic plunge into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated significantly. The Mayor has dispatched a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the escalating situation.

Together with Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's unresolved past will come to the forefront, and the Exaltists’ conspiracy will begin to unravel, adding layers of intrigue to the narrative.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird will join the fray. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering substantial Corruption damage, especially when combined with other characters’ EX Special Attacks.

The second new character is Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, who uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks on stunned enemies trigger a Totalize effect, amplifying damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, will also be introduced, utilizing cards with random effects. Additionally, Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, will make a return in Version 1.7’s banners.

Version 1.7 will also introduce new events to Zenless Zone Zero. The 'Say It With Flowers' event allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
