Fans were treated to an exclusive clip and an insightful interview with Scott Gimple, the chief content officer of The Walking Dead universe, along with actors Lauren Cohan (Maggie) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) during Day 2 of the event.

Lauren Cohan delved into Maggie's mindset heading into the new season, saying, "Sadly not everything is quite as rosy as it could be or seems or one would hope." She highlighted the relatable domestic challenges Maggie faces, including raising her teenage son and caring for Ginny amidst the backdrop of an apocalyptic world. "That's where we find ourselves before another big bad thing happens," Cohan added, setting the stage for the upcoming drama.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey Dean Morgan discussed Negan's current situation, revealing that he's "very much under the thumb of The Dama and The Croat." Negan finds himself in unfamiliar territory and struggling to regain control. "He's always scheming and trying to figure out how he can get on top of the situation, but he finds himself in a hard spot," Morgan explained, hinting at Negan's ongoing challenges and attempts to turn the tables.
