Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, has been plagued by a series of unfortunate leaks, starting as early as 2022 during its closed beta testing phase. These leaks have re-emerged two years later, indicating that the project is still in development. Recently, following what seems to be a reboot of the game's development, an introductory cinematic has surfaced online.

The leaked cinematic was shared by blogger Shaun Weber, known for his history of leaking gaming content. While the origin and authenticity of the cinematic remain unconfirmed by Ubisoft, Weber has hinted that more videos from Project U could leak if the game's development continues.

Project U is anticipated to be a session-based cooperative shooter, taking inspiration from the success of Helldivers 2. According to the leaked footage, the game's narrative centers around an alien machine invasion of Earth, with players assuming the roles of chosen individuals tasked with thwarting this extraterrestrial threat.

As of now, Ubisoft has not provided any official word on when they plan to formally announce Project U, leaving fans eagerly awaiting further updates.
