Craving more of Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan's gripping crime saga? Eager for another round of Helen Mirren's commanding presence? Good news—Paramount+ has officially given MobLand the green light for Season 2.

The streamer reports that 26 million viewers have tuned in since its March 30 debut, making renewal an obvious choice—especially with such stellar leads. According to Paramount+, MobLand now ranks as the platform’s second most-watched original series.

Alongside Hardy, Brosnan, and Mirren, the show features House of the Dragon’s Paddy Considine and Downton Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt. It centers on Hardy’s Harry Da Souza, a fixer working for Brosnan’s Conrad Harrigan and his London crime syndicate. The official synopsis paints a vivid picture: "Two generations of gangsters, their empires, tangled alliances, and the man they trust to clean up their messes."

"With 26 million viewers and counting, MobLand’s success stems from the visionary work of producers Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, and David C. Glasser, amplified by Tom, Pierce, and Helen’s electrifying performances," said Chris McCarthy, Paramount co-CEO and Showtime/MTV Entertainment president. "Thrilled to announce Season 2 of this global hit, topping charts worldwide and ranking #1 in the UK."

Season 1 holds a strong 75% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and remains available to stream—though Season 2’s premiere date remains under wraps.

During May’s MobLand press tour, Hardy reflected on how blockbusters like Venom, Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Dark Knight Rises impacted his health as he nears 50.

"Two knee surgeries, a herniated disc, chronic sciatica," the 47-year-old shared.

"Then there’s plantar fasciitis—where did that even come from? Oh, and a torn hip tendon. My body’s falling apart, and let’s be honest—it’s not bouncing back."
