"Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has just released an exciting Dev's Diary for April, detailing the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This new quest, available from today until April 28th, challenges players to survive the perilous Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert with the help of Leela and Ozan.

Here's the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh's Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of chaos. Following Osman's shocking betrayal of his own people, the city is crumbling from within. The populace is divided, and the ominous presence of Amascut lurks in the shadows, setting the stage for a series of daunting challenges. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is just the beginning of the trials ahead.

Fortunately, you won't be facing these dangers alone. Leela is ready to take action, and you'll be joined by new allies, including some intriguing pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel the true intentions behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Upon successfully completing Pharaoh's Folly, RuneScape offers rewarding incentives. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela's Favour bracelet. This bracelet is particularly useful as it allows teleportation across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, the Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly quest is not for the faint-hearted or the unprepared. Participants need a Slayer level of 87, must have completed the "Beneath Scabaras' Sands" quest, and checked off various objectives from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, it's crucial to have built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Only then can you meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and attempt to steer the city away from disaster. If you meet these prerequisites, download the game from the Google Play Store and embark on your journey back to the desert!
