Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Gets Final Major Content Update

Summary
Rocksteady Studios has released the final major content update, Season 4 Episode 8, for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, this update concludes development for the live-service title. While servers will remain online, no further content will be added after the January 14th patch.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released in February 2024 to largely negative reviews, will cease receiving updates after less than a year on the market. Rocksteady announced the end of support on December 9th, 2024, stating that Season 4 Episode 8 would be the final update. Online features will remain accessible, allowing players to continue experiencing the game with friends.
Following a brief period of server downtime, Season 4 Episode 8: Balance is now live. This update introduces a Libra-themed Infamy Set, powerful new Notorious weapons, and a final Mayhem mission against Brainiac. Significant bug fixes and gameplay improvements are also included, such as reduced XP requirements for Squad Levels (with retroactive rewards).
Although further content updates are not planned, offline play is possible thanks to a previous update (Season 4 Episode 7). This allows players to enjoy the main campaign and all seasonal story missions without an internet connection. While Rocksteady hasn't detailed server shutdown plans, offline play ensures continued access to the game's content even if servers are eventually taken offline.
For those who haven't yet played, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is currently available on PlayStation Plus until February 3rd, alongside The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered.
