The Sims Marks 25th Anniversary with Free Giveaways

Electronic Arts recently held an exciting livestream to get players ready for the 25th anniversary celebrations of The Sims series. During this event, they unveiled a slew of gifts and events that The Sims 4 players can look forward to during these festive weeks.

The preparations for this grand celebration are well underway. A new update has already been released, which not only fixes several bugs but also introduces a revamped main menu and enhances game optimization. Additionally, the developers have given a fresh look to several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. These updated versions will be available immediately upon starting a new game, while players with existing saves can access them through the library.

The main festivities will commence on February 4. The Sims 4 is set to receive an update that will introduce over 70 new free items! On the same day, a new in-game event called "Blast from the Past" will kick off. By participating in a series of straightforward missions, players will have the opportunity to unlock retro-style items and collect a brand new set.

Moreover, starting February 6, a new season named Motherlode will begin in The Sims 4. Although the specifics of what this season will entail are still a mystery, anticipation is already building among the community.
