Exciting news for *Pokemon Home* enthusiasts: Shiny Keldeo and Shiny Meltan are now within reach after updating to version 3.2.2 of the game. While there are some challenging tasks ahead, the reward of obtaining Shiny Keldeo is particularly enticing. Previously, this Legendary was Shiny-locked and couldn't be obtained legitimately. To secure Shiny Keldeo in *Pokemon Home*, you must complete the Galar Pokedex with Pokemon from *Sword & Shield*, including those from the Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra DLCs. Each of these Pokemon must have the Galar origin mark, a slanted PokeBall logo found above their stat screen, indicating they originated from *Sword & Shield* or its DLCs. Once your Pokedex is complete, head to the main menu, select the three-line menu icon, and choose "Mystery Gift" to claim your Shiny Keldeo. There's no rush, as there's no deadline to claim this reward.

Similarly, to obtain Shiny Meltan, you need to complete the Kanto Pokedex in *Pokemon Home* with Pokemon from *Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee*. These Pokemon must bear the Let's Go marker, a Pikachu silhouette above their stat screen. After completing your Kanto Pokedex, navigate to the main menu and select "Mystery Gift" to receive your Shiny Meltan. Like Keldeo, there's no time limit to claim this reward.

Why Is Pokemon Home Not Registering My Pokedex?

If you're facing issues with *Pokemon Home* not registering your Pokedex entries, it might be due to a data issue, particularly on mobile devices. To resolve this, follow these steps as recommended by Pokemon's support website:

  • Open the app and select the "Menu" icon (three-line symbol within a circle) in the top-right corner of the title screen.
  • Choose "Clear Cache." You'll be reassured that "None of the data you’re currently using will be deleted."
  • Tap "OK" to clear the cache. A message will confirm that the cache has been successfully cleared.

After clearing the cache, your Pokedex should start registering Pokemon correctly.
