Season of Discovery Phase 7 Launch Date Announced for WoW Classic
World of Warcraft Classic enthusiasts, get ready for an epic conclusion to Season of Discovery as Phase 7 launches on January 28. This final chapter promises to be thrilling, introducing the Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the Scourge Invasions event. Just over a week later, on February 6, guilds will have the chance to challenge the legendary Naxxramas raid, offering new twists and challenges for players to conquer.
Following closely on the heels of Phase 6, which took players back to Silithus for the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and the Ahn'qiraj raids, Phase 7 is set to elevate the excitement. During the Ahn'qiraj raids, many players encountered a mysterious Shadowy Figure among the desert ruins, speculated to be Xal'atath from World of Warcraft: The War Within. Although the figure only offered cryptic comments about the Old Gods in Phase 6, fans are eager to see if it will make a final appearance in Phase 7.
Launching on January 28 after server maintenance, Phase 7 will open up the Karazhan Crypts, a new 5-player dungeon located in Deadwind Pass. This dungeon takes adventurers beneath the iconic tower of Karazhan, which later became a 10-player raid in The Burning Crusade. Alongside the dungeon, the Scourge Invasions event will bring waves of undead monsters to various zones and cities across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Players can embark on new quests at Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands, collecting Necrotic Runes from undead foes to acquire new consumable items.
