Old School RuneScape Launches the Royal Titans with a Dual Boss Encounter

Old School RuneScape's Royal Titans Update: A Fiery Showdown!

The latest Old School RuneScape update, Royal Titans, plunges players into a colossal conflict between fire and ice giants. Lead by Brandr, the Fire Queen, and Eldric, the King of Frost, respectively, these titans clash in a spectacular PvM encounter. The fire giants' territorial ambitions lead them to the Asgarnian Ice Cave, home to the ice giants, igniting an epic battle.

This dual boss fight requires strategic adaptability. Players must swiftly switch gear to exploit elemental weaknesses, as a single strategy will prove insufficient. Cooperative gameplay is also an option, allowing players to team up and conquer the challenge together.

Rewards for vanquishing the Royal Titans include the potent Twinflame Staff and the Giantsoul Amulet, an untradeable teleport to Obor, Bryophyta, and the Royal Titans themselves.

Beyond the main encounter, players can acquire valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and a coveted Fire & Ice giant pet. A new Slayer Alternative Task is also introduced, offering additional Slayer XP by battling fire and ice giants alongside the boss fight.

This update coincides with Old School RuneScape's 12th birthday on February 19th, featuring a celebratory livestream, in-game decorations, and exclusive cosmetic rewards. The Royal Titans mark a significant start to 2025 for the game.
