According to journalist Jason Schreier, the acclaimed Rocksteady Studios is developing a new single-player Batman game. Details are currently limited, with Schreier not specifying if it's a prequel, a sequel to the Arkham series, or a completely new story. However, one insider suggests the project is a Batman Beyond title, placing players in a futuristic Gotham City and potentially launching as a trilogy for next-generation consoles.

The Arkham series was celebrated for its stunning visuals, and a futuristic Gotham setting could be Rocksteady's most impressive yet. The Batman Beyond concept also addresses the challenge of replacing the voice of the late Kevin Conroy.
