Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 Unveils Innovative Team-Based eSports Format in Tennis Clash
Following last year's thrilling competition, the Roland-Garros eSeries is set to return in 2025, inviting players from across the globe to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year, the tournament introduces an exciting team-based format, with legendary tennis captains at the helm and a €5,000 prize pool up for grabs. Key sponsors Renault and Mastercard are back, allowing players to customize their characters with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and utilize the special Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.
When Does It Start?
The Roland-Garros eSeries will kick off in March, with the open qualifiers serving as the initial battleground for players vying for a spot in the finals. The qualifying stages are scheduled from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, determining the elite contenders who will advance. The top female players from the first two qualifiers will secure their positions alongside the overall winners. The culmination of the event will take place at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, where finalists will compete in front of a live audience. The entire event will also be streamed live on Twitch, ensuring fans worldwide can witness the action.
What’s New This Year?
The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 brings a fresh team-based format to the competition. Instead of individual play, finalists will form teams led by prominent figures in French tennis. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the team captains. Simon, who has served as a commentator for the eSeries since 2023 and competed in the Top 8 in 2024, will coach one of the squads. The identity of his rival captain, a Grand Slam winner, remains a tantalizing secret for now.
Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?
Once the teams are finalized, the competition will intensify. The winning team from the first phase will advance to the winner's side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team will start in the loser's bracket. Defending champion Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco is set to return, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With 548,000 participants from 215 territories last year, expectations are high for an even more competitive field in 2025.
In celebration of Women’s Day, Tennis Clash is offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players. To join the excitement, download the game from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025, where there's plenty to explore and enjoy.
