This marks the first official reveal of what little we know about *Zero Company*, aside from the fact that it will be a "single-player turn-based tactics game." Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long for more details—EA has announced that a first look at the game will debut on April 19 at Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

Bit Reactor is a relatively new strategy-focused game studio formed by industry veterans known for their work on acclaimed titles such as *XCOM*, *Civilization*, *Gears of War*, and *Elder Scrolls Online*. Founded in 2022, the studio has been quietly working on this *Star Wars* project alongside Respawn, though this is the first time any concrete information has been shared publicly.

As for Respawn’s role in the development, the exact scope of their involvement remains unclear. The studio has faced significant challenges over the past year, including the cancellation of its own *Star Wars* first-person shooter project and subsequent mass layoffs at EA. More recently, another internal multiplayer FPS project was also canceled.

Additional details about *Star Wars: Zero Company* will be revealed during a live panel on Saturday, April 19, at 4:30 PM local time in Japan—which translates to 12:30 AM PT and 3:30 AM ET in the United States. Fans eager for more information should set their alarms accordingly!
