"Predator Movies: How to Watch in Chronological Order"
Humans often revel in their position at the top of Earth's food chain, yet in the grand scheme of the cosmos, we're merely contenders in the galactic gladiator arena. The Predator franchise, which kicked off with the iconic 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, introduces us to the "Yautja"—formidable extraterrestrial hunters who scour the universe for worthy prey. These towering trophy-seekers have even been known to abduct species for hunts back on their home planet, showcasing their relentless pursuit of the ultimate challenge.
The saga began with two foundational films in 1987 and 1990, establishing the lore and setting the stage for future adventures. The introduction of Xenomorphs from the Alien franchise led to a thrilling crossover in the 2000s with two Alien vs. Predator movies. In the subsequent decade, directors like Robert Rodriguez, Shane Black, and Dan Trachtenberg each brought their unique vision to the series, enriching the narrative and expanding its universe.
With two new Predator movies slated for 2025, now is the perfect time to revisit the original sci-fi classics. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a newcomer to the franchise, we've got you covered with a comprehensive guide to watching all the Predator movies in order.
