What's the Pokémon GO Safari Ball All About?

Veteran Pokémon players will be familiar with Safari Zones from the main series games. These unique areas allow for the capture of rare Pokémon without the need for battles. Niantic is cleverly recreating this experience with their new Wild Area event.

Pokémon GO hasn't seen many new Poké Ball additions over the years. Regularly used balls include the standard Poké Ball, Great Ball, and Ultra Ball. Then there are Premier Balls, and the game's most elusive prize, the Master Ball.

The Wild Area event is scheduled globally from November 23rd to 24th, 2024, concluding at 6:15 pm local time. However, a key point to remember is that any unused Safari Balls will vanish from your inventory once the event ends.

During the event, the Pokémon GO Safari Ball will be the preferred tool for catching powerful Pokémon. It's intriguing that Niantic isn't releasing these balls during Pokémon GO Safari Zone and City Safari events, opting instead for a unique event launch.
