Pokémon Go Tour: Unova unveils new details ahead of the event

Get ready for the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova! This event is packed with exciting updates, from new music to a crucial choice and awesome avatar items.

The world premiere of a new soundtrack, composed by Junichi Masuda and inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, will set the mood as you explore, battle, and catch Pokémon.

A pivotal decision awaits: choose between Reshiram and Zekrom in the new Special Research story, "It's Not Over Yet." This choice unlocks unique event badges—Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom)—each offering distinct rewards and bonuses. All Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in five-star raids will know the Charged Attack Glaciate. In-person event attendees in New Taipei City or Los Angeles receive this attack automatically on all Kyurem encounters.

New avatar items are also up for grabs! Earn the Go Tour 2025 Tee in the free Tour Pass, or upgrade to the Tour Pass Deluxe for the Kyurem Helmet. The Black Kyurem Wings and White Kyurem Backpack will be available in the shop, alongside the Shiny Meloetta Tee (part of the new Masterwork Research).
