Marvel Contest of Champions Welcomes Isophyne: A Brand New Champion

Kabam is introducing a completely original character to Marvel Contest of Champions: Isophyne. This fresh addition, designed by Kabam's creators, boasts a unique aesthetic reminiscent of the film Avatar, enhanced with copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Gameplay:

Isophyne enters the arena with a revolutionary approach to combat. Unlike traditional champions who build power for special moves, Isophyne utilizes a "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. This allows for unprecedented flexibility, enabling players to chain together special moves in any order they choose. Instead of the usual sequence of Special 1, then 2, then 3, players can strategically unleash multiple Special 1s consecutively, creating unpredictable and adaptable combat strategies.

Mysterious Origins:

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery, linked to the enigmatic Founders, a group set to be further explored in 2025 within the game's narrative. For now, players can appreciate her striking appearance and formidable power.

Kabam's 10th Anniversary Celebrations:

This new champion arrives amidst Kabam's 10th-anniversary celebrations for Marvel Contest of Champions. A series of surprises is planned throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
