Evercade's Super Pocket handheld line expands with Atari and Technos editions! These new handhelds will feature classic games from their respective platforms. A limited-edition run of 2600 wood-grain Atari handhelds will also be available soon.
Game preservation is a contentious issue, but Evercade provides a legitimate way to access retro games without exorbitant secondhand costs. Following the successful Capcom and Taito releases, the Atari and Technos editions offer a fresh wave of retro gaming on the go.
Retro Gaming on the Go
The official release of more retro gaming handhelds is always welcome news, especially considering the prevalence of emulation. Evercade has built a solid reputation, though the limited-edition wood-grain Atari might be viewed as a marketing tactic by some. However, the Super Pocket's compatibility with existing Evercade cartridges provides a versatile, portable retro gaming experience.
