The new Joy-Con 2 controllers feature a magnetic connection and can be detached using a release button on the back. The SL and SR buttons on the sides are larger, enhancing the gaming experience when playing horizontally. Additionally, the left and right analog sticks are bigger for improved control. This segment also introduced mouse control support within the Joy-Con controllers, adding a new dimension to gameplay.
The handheld version of the Nintendo Switch 2 includes a built-in microphone with noise-canceling technology and supports 3D audio for compatible games. It also features a more robust and adjustable stand than the original Switch, allowing for different viewing angles. A top USB port is available for external camera connectivity or to charge the system in tabletop mode.
