Mark your calendars because this highly anticipated console will be available starting June 5, 2025, and it's priced at $449.99.

For those looking to dive straight into the action, Nintendo is also offering a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle. This bundle, available from launch day, comes with a suggested retail price of $499.99 in the US and includes the system along with a download code for Mario Kart World. If you prefer to purchase Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price tag of $79.99.

You can also register your interest with Nintendo for preorders of the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories via the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent out via email on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and have logged at least 50 gameplay hours as of April 2, 2025. Once priority users receive their invites, remaining eligible registrants will be considered. Note that invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. You can purchase one system and one of each accessory per account. Additionally, all major retailers are expected to open preorders on April 9, 2025.
