Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Teaser Poster Released
Get ready for a return to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza! The official poster for the highly anticipated sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, is finally here, and excitement is building for another terrifying slice of the action.
The poster showcases a children's toy known as the FazTalker, which resembles a two-way radio mixed with a classic Fisher-Price-style microphone and boombox. It prominently features Freddy Fazbear, the restaurant's main mascot, with speakers or microphones built into its ears and a wide-open mouth. In place of a standard bowtie, a communication screen displays the haunting message: "You there?"
This clearly points to an attempt at communication, possibly with Mike, the protagonist from the first film, who will again be portrayed by Josh Hutcherson. Given the events of the original movie's climax, it's plausible this imagery could be linked to William Afton, Freddy Fazbear's owner and the main antagonist played by Matthew Lillard.

Even though Afton is presumed dead and did not appear as Freddy Fazbear in the first film — spoiler alert: he ultimately became the infamous Springtrap, a twisted version of the yellow Bonnie rabbit suit familiar to FNAF fans — this doesn't rule out the possibility of his ghost attempting to make contact from beyond the grave.
There are, however, several other explanations for the FazTalker. Since the toy is not part of the original game lore and appears to be a movie invention, it could belong to Abby, Mike's younger sister. The device might then be used to communicate with her, or even manipulate her, especially considering the first film established that the spirits of Afton's victims could reach out through dreams and drawings. It's entirely possible this gadget is being exploited to operate within that supernatural framework, potentially luring characters back to the pizzeria for sinister purposes.
Universal has also revealed the film's official tagline: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.” Frankly, it's chilling. Surviving the initial five nights was challenge enough.
The first FNAF film, released in October 2023, achieved a record-breaking $80 million opening weekend and went on to earn nearly $300 million globally. The sequel, written by the game's creator Scott Cawthon and directed by Emma Tammi, is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5, 2025.
