Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon card, showcases the red-white pairing in Aetherdrift. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (introduced in Battlebond), this creature boasts 3 power, allowing it to crew vehicles directly. Its activated ability generates Pilot tokens to crew vehicles for you, making it a valuable asset in red-white decks.
The rare card, Count on Luck, is a 3-mana enchantment with a straightforward yet powerful effect. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and may play it immediately. This "impulse draw" mechanic provides consistent card advantage for mono-red decks, offering a potent burst of additional resources. Use it wisely, or lose the opportunity.
Count on Luck also features extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While the extended art simply expands the card's artwork, the First-Place Foils are a new addition to Aetherdrift. These golden cards are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with each Aetherdrift box, encompassing all rares and 10 full-art lands.
Aetherdrift launches on February 14th (physically and digitally), with prereleases beginning February 7th. Learn more about the set's mechanics here.
