Live-Action Lilo, Cobra Bubbles, Pleakley Revealed in New Lilo & Stitch Trailer

The official trailer for the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch has finally been released, offering fans an exciting glimpse into the film. This trailer showcases Maia Kealoha's portrayal of Lilo, originally brought to life by Daveigh Chase in the 2002 animated classic. Kealoha steps into the spotlight, giving us our first in-depth look at her interpretation of the beloved character.

An intriguing plot twist suggests that Jumba, played by Zach Galifianakis, and Pleakley will initially appear in human disguises on Earth before revealing their true alien forms. We catch a brief glimpse of Pleakley in his alien guise, adding to the anticipation.

Fans will be delighted to see live-action recreations of iconic scenes from the original, such as Stitch's dramatic entrance resembling a falling star, his transformation to appear more like a dog at the shelter, and the heartwarming moment when Lilo declares, "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."

Lilo & Stitch is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2025, joining the ranks of other beloved Disney classics being remade into live-action. It follows closely on the heels of the live-action Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, slated for release on March 21, 2025.
