Together We Live Is a New Visual Novel with a Deep Story About Humanity’s Sins

Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, is now exclusively available on Android. This poignant story unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world, exploring themes of human sin and the arduous path to redemption. Already a Steam hit on PC, Together We Live offers a compelling narrative.

A Journey of Atonement

The game centers on Kyoya, whose journey begins unexpectedly. He awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, nearly two millennia from his last memory. Earth is a desolate wasteland, and he encounters a mysterious girl who holds the key to his understanding.

This girl is burdened by a devastating cycle: she repeatedly dies and is reborn, endlessly atoning for humanity's past transgressions. This brutal cycle, witnessed by Kyoya, inspires him to share the concept of happiness with her.

The narrative's pacing may feel deliberate initially, but the slow burn pays off. As the story progresses, seemingly insignificant details intertwine, creating impactful twists and turns.

A Thought-Provoking Experience

Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live eschews player choices, presenting a linear interactive story. The art style is simple yet charming, effectively contrasting beauty and sorrow to create a powerful emotional impact. The girl's fully voiced performance adds a haunting depth to the narrative.

Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support. It's priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store, or free for Google Play Pass subscribers.
