LEGO Unveils Jango Fett's Starship, New Star Wars Sets Before May the Fourth
LEGO has unveiled nine exciting new Star Wars sets, all set to launch on May 1, 2025, as part of Disney's comprehensive celebration of May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. LEGO traditionally marks this occasion with the release of a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship. In 2023, fans were treated to Luke's X-Wing Starfighter, and in 2024, it was the TIE Interceptor. This year, LEGO enthusiasts and Star Wars fans can look forward to Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, famously known to longtime fans as Slave I (view it on the LEGO Store). The name change to Firespray Starship, which occurred in 2021 at Disney's request (confirmed by LEGO), reflects a sensitivity to the connotations of the word 'slave' and appears to be permanent.
