Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As you gear up for the Sweet Discoveries event, get ready for the regal excitement of the upcoming Crown Clash event in Pokémon Go, set to take place from May 10th to 18th. This event promises a royal experience, offering you the chance to evolve the formidable Kingambit, adorn your Pokémon with crowns, and collect a plethora of rewards, including bonus XP for evolving your Pokémon.

Kingambit, the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its much-anticipated debut during the Crown Clash. To add this powerful Pokémon to your roster, you'll need to evolve Bisharp. However, there's a unique requirement: Bisharp must be set as your buddy, and you must defeat 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. Bisharp doesn't need to fight; simply bring it along and secure those victories.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, two new costumed Pokémon will join the fray: Nidoqueen and Nidoking, both adorned with majestic crowns. You might even encounter their Shiny variants if luck is on your side. These crowned Pokémon will be the stars of three-star raids, while one-star raids will feature Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

The wild will be bustling with activity during the event. Keep an eye out for frequent spawns such as Slowpoke (which could lead to a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, giving you more opportunities to catch this elusive Pokémon.
