The First Berserker: Khazan has unveiled an exciting new gameplay trailer that offers a glimpse into the thrilling boss fights and hints at an awakened form for the protagonist, Khazan. The First Berserker: Khazan’s New Trailer Highlights Different Boss Fights

During the IGN Fan Fest on February 27, 2025, South Korean developer Neople treated fans to a new gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. The trailer showcased Khazan engaging in battles against an umbrella-wielding boss and two other formidable beasts.

The umbrella-wielding boss appears to be a significant part of the main storyline, as evidenced by a brief cutscene shown before the battle commences. Although the HUD was not visible during the fight, making detailed information scarce, the trailer also introduced two other bosses: Shactuka, a wolf-like beast, and the Specter of Bhangau, a ram-like creature wielding a hammer and spike.

Possible Awakened Form

A highlight of the trailer was Khazan's transformation into what appears to be an awakened form. This new form deviates from his usual samurai-like appearance, enveloping him in a red glow and full body armor. In this state, Khazan wields a variety of weapons, executing a range of powerful attacks.

While The First Berserker: Khazan offers multiple combat options, this awakened form significantly enhances Khazan's attack speed and power. The trailer demonstrated the game's combat mechanics, including blocking enemy projectiles, parrying, and executing fast-paced combos. However, the effectiveness of Khazan's attacks seemed limited against the bosses, as their health bars showed minimal damage, underscoring the game's challenging Souls-like elements.

Although Neople has not officially confirmed details about this awakened form, the trailer suggests it will enable Khazan to unleash devastating damage and perform extensive combos with different weapons.
