Kaiju No. 8 Game Begins Worldwide Pre-Registration

Kaiju No. 8 The Game has opened global pre-registrations for Android players. In June 2024, Akatsuki Games shared the first official trailer. After nearly a year of silence, the celebrated manga and anime is set to arrive soon on mobile and PC platforms.

When Is It Landing on Mobile?

According to the app store listing, the expected release date is August 31, 2025. The game is a collaboration between Akatsuki Games, TOHO, and Production I.G., seeking to authentically recreate the universe established by Naoya Matsumoto.

In terms of gameplay, Kaiju No. 8 The Game blends cinematic elements from the anime with turn-based combat mechanics. Players must first uncover a Kaiju's core before they can unleash their most powerful attacks.

You'll take command of fan-favorite characters such as Mina Ashiro, Soshiro Hoshina, and Kikoru Shinomiya. Each features a detailed 3D model and faithfully executes their iconic combat abilities.

Although key story arcs from the series are recreated, the game is more than a simple retelling of Kafka Hibino's journey. It expands the Kaiju No. 8 universe with original narratives.

Akatsuki Games has set milestone rewards tied to the global preregistration count for Kaiju No. 8 The Game. The more players who sign up ahead of launch, the greater the free rewards will be for everyone. A notable reward includes the 4-star [Aiming for Greater Heights] Mina Ashiro character.
