The Boys star Jack Quaid has expressed his enthusiasm for a potential BioShock movie adaptation, revealing that BioShock is among his all-time favorite games. During a Reddit AMA coinciding with the release of his latest film, Novocaine, Quaid highlighted the game's rich lore as an ideal foundation for exploration in either television or cinematic formats.

"I would absolutely love to be part of a live-action BioShock adaptation—one of my favorite games ever," he shared. "The depth of its narrative offers endless possibilities for storytelling."

Despite Roy Lee's previous announcement regarding Netflix's BioShock movie transitioning to a more budget-conscious and intimate approach following internal changes, details about the project remain scarce. Although the storyline isn't public knowledge yet, Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence remains attached to helm the project.

Quaid's admiration for BioShock aligns with his acknowledgment of his striking resemblance to Max Payne, a character famously inspired by Remedy writer Sam Lake. However, Quaid confessed unfamiliarity with the Max Payne series, which is currently undergoing a remake under Rockstar.

Beyond BioShock, Quaid confessed a deep affection for FromSoftware titles, particularly praising games like Bloodborne and Elden Ring. He admitted spending considerable time on Reddit seeking advice to conquer challenging boss battles within these games, emphasizing their appeal through difficulty and intricate design.
