Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ series, *Ironheart*, featuring Dominique Thorne reprising her role as the armored superhero Riri Williams, who first appeared in 2022's *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever*. The series also introduces Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, aka The Hood. The trailer offers a glimpse into Riri's journey to becoming a standalone superhero icon, transitioning from her supporting role in the MCU.
The trailer suggests that Parker Robbins / The Hood starts off as a mentor figure to Riri, aiming to help her harness her potential. However, there's an underlying complexity to his character that promises intriguing developments.Ironheart, executive produced by Ryan Coogler, is set to launch with a three-episode premiere on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, exclusively on Disney+.
In the trailer, Riri humorously refers to her Wakanda Forever experience as an "internship abroad." Her expulsion from MIT sets the stage for The Hood's challenge: "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" We see Riri donning her Ironheart suit, taking to the skies, and in a thrilling action sequence, grounding herself to deliver a powerful punch that sends a truck soaring overhead.
