The allegations surfaced after popular streamer Asmongold released a detailed 32-minute video discussing the possibility of Musk "cheating" by either purchasing a high-level character or having it leveled up by someone else. The video highlights the significant time commitment required to reach such a high level, sparking debates on how Musk could manage this alongside his responsibilities at SpaceX, Tesla, and X.

Further fueling the controversy, viewers noted that during Musk's streams, he appeared unfamiliar with the game mechanics, which seemed inconsistent with someone who had supposedly leveled a character from zero to 97.
