Hyde Run: Global Launch of High-Speed Endless Runner Game!
If you're a fan of Japanese music, you're likely familiar with HYDE, the legendary artist who has graced stages like Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, HYDE takes center stage in an exciting new endless runner game called Hyde Run, which has just launched globally. Initially released in Japan, this game is now accessible to players around the world, courtesy of developer and publisher Phoenixx. They aim to provide a unique way for global fans to immerse themselves in HYDE’s illustrious music career through gameplay filled with nods to his work.
Move, Jump, or Slide in Hyde Run
In Hyde Run, you'll navigate through a dynamic concert stage and a futuristic rendition of Tokyo. As HYDE, you'll embark on a high-speed chase across Neo Tokyo, skillfully dodging obstacles, wall-running past towering billboards, and collecting musical notes. The game's atmosphere is distinctly infused with the electric energy of guitar solos and is tailored with fan-centric details that set it apart from typical endless runners.
As you race through the city, you can pick up various power-ups, such as magnets that attract notes to you and barriers that protect against damage. Before each run, you can equip items to enhance your performance. Activate a Note Gain to increase your note collection or opt for a Barrier to avoid those pesky obstacles.
Collecting crystals in the game unlocks exclusive HYDE-themed outfits and room items, reflecting his extensive career. Additionally, unlocking the Microphone Stand allows you to access voice clips from HYDE himself.
There's More Stuff in the Game to Do
Hyde Run also allows you to personalize HYDE's room with memorabilia spanning the last 20 years, including tour gear and subtle references. Hidden items within the game unlock special messages and voice notes from HYDE.
Currently, there are limited-time offers available until June 10th, 2025. You can grab the THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set, featuring HYDE in an iconic look from his music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights. Alternatively, the Bat Jinbei Costume Set offers a more relaxed, summer-festival vibe. For a traditional touch, there's a Japanese-style furniture set complete with bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime resembling HYDE’s Edyh character.
