However, today's offer, while not exactly budget-friendly, is one of the best deals I've seen for one of the premier TVs on the market. For a very limited time, both Walmart and Amazon are selling the 83" LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV for under $2,700, complete with free delivery. To put this into perspective, the 2024 model, the 83" LG G4, is currently listed at a staggering $5,300. LG's Gallery Series TVs are their top-tier OLED models and are widely considered among the best OLED TVs available.

The G3, launched in 2023, is one generation behind the latest model (no "G5" TV has been released yet), but it remains superior to any other TV in LG's lineup—be it OLED or otherwise—with the sole exception of the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED outperforms the C-series, as both utilize an "Evo" panel that's brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs. The G-series, however, takes it a step further by incorporating MLA (micro lens array) technology, which enhances brightness. This technology significantly increases the TV's cost but elevates its image quality to match or even surpass that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.

OLED TVs are generally regarded as the best TVs currently available. They provide superior image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, a wider color gamut, and faster response times compared to traditional LED LCD TVs. These advantages make OLED TVs the ideal choice for enjoying 4K HDR content in its full splendor. LG's OLED TVs, in particular, have benefited from years of refinements and optimizations.
