CSR2 Takes Players Back to the Future

Zynga is revving up nostalgia in Custom Street Racer 2 (CSR2) with a special collaboration marking Back to the Future's 40th anniversary. The 1985 sci-fi classic comes to life in this mobile racing game starting today.

The Iconic DeLorean Arrives

Players can now collect and race the film's legendary DeLorean Time Machine - fully drivable though without special abilities. Beyond just the vehicle, CSR2 delivers complete Back to the Future immersion with:

• A film-inspired custom interface
• Fresh narrative content
• Multiple themed events

Three limited-time Time Machine events launch alongside a community competition. Zynga confirms additional anniversary content will roll out throughout the year.

No Time Travel - Just Racing Thrills

While you can't actually visit 1955 like in the movies, this marks CSR2's most ambitious crossover yet. Sam Cooper, Zynga's VP of Games, calls the DeLorean "one of cinema's most iconic vehicles" and emphasizes honoring this anniversary milestone.

The collaboration includes social media quizzes with prizes currently running. Custom Street Racer 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store.
