Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

Celebrate the Chinese New Year with the Pokémon GO Lunar New Year event, which runs until February 2 at 8:00 PM local time. This year, marking the Year of the Snake, you'll see an increased spawn rate of snake-themed Pokémon including:

• Ekans (Shiny can be found)
• Onix (Shiny can be found)
• Snivy (Shiny can be found)
• Darumaka (Shiny can be found)
• Dunsparce (Shiny can be found)
• Gyarados (Shiny can be found)
• Dratini (Shiny can be found)

The event also offers exciting bonuses such as a higher chance of getting Lucky Pokémon in trades and becoming Lucky Friends. Engage in daily Field Research tasks to earn free PokéCoins. Additionally, the 2KM Egg pool will hatch the following Pokémon during the event:

• Makuhita (Shiny can be hatched)

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9

The legendary Dynamax Moltres makes its debut during the final week of the Legendary Flight event. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on February 3, challenge Dynamax Moltres at all Power Spots. After the initial hour, Moltres will still be available until February 9, but it will appear at fewer Power Spots as Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble take the stage as Max Battle bosses until February 10.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 9, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, for a special dual Community Day featuring Karrablast and Shelmet. Increase your Candy haul and enjoy evolution bonuses along with better odds of encountering Shiny versions. Evolve Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM to get an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15
