February 2025: Leading Gacha Games by Revenue

The competition within the gacha gaming industry is intensifying, with recent financial data from February 2025 showing revenue declines for several leading titles. Enthusiasts of these games are closely monitoring these financial trends, which provide insights into the genre's performance during this period.

miHoYo, known as HoYoverse, has seen its three flagship titles—Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero—experience revenue drops. Honkai Star Rail, despite slipping to fourth place, saw its revenue decrease from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, which had previously enjoyed a revenue spike due to the Mavuika banner event, fell to sixth place with a significant drop from over $99 million to $26.3 million. Zenless Zone Zero, ranking eighth, saw its earnings decline from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans can look forward to potential revenue increases with upcoming updates that will introduce new characters to these games.

In contrast, Pokemon TCG Pocket emerged as the top-earning gacha game in February 2025, amassing $79 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace secured the second spot with $49.5 million, closely followed by Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle in third place with $47 million.
