Author : Jonathan Dec 09,2025

Remedy has confirmed FBC: Firebreak will launch on June 17, 2025.

This session-based multiplayer PvE experience expands the Control universe with replayable Jobs - challenging missions featuring diverse objectives and environments that demand teamwork and strategic thinking.

The $39.99 / €39.99 / £32.99 title will release on PC (Steam/Epic), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It marks Remedy's first self-published title and will be available day one through PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (Extra/Premium).

The PlayFBC: Firebreak Deluxe Edition ($49.99/€49.99/£39.99) includes exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs, with a $10/€10/£7 upgrade path for base game owners.

Deluxe Edition Contents:

  • "The Firestarter" Premium Voice Pack
  • "The Pencil Pusher" Premium Voice Pack
  • Firestarter Armor Set (Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves)
  • Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin
  • Golden Firebreak Spray
  • Classified Requisition: "Firestarter" (36 unlockable cosmetics)

Publisher's description:

FBC: Firebreak introduces the Requisitions system, rewarding players with gear and cosmetics through gameplay. All unlockables remain permanently available without time limits or rotating stores. Classified Requisitions offer optional premium cosmetics (armor sets, voice packs, sprays, weapon skins) for purchase - none impacting gameplay balance.

Remedy plans ongoing free post-launch support including two new Jobs (missions) in 2025, with additional content planned for 2026. All gameplay updates will be free, with monetization limited to optional cosmetics.

The studio currently has multiple projects in development including Control 2 and the Max Payne 1-2 remake compilation alongside FBC: Firebreak.
