To unlock this feature, head to the **Carpenter’s Shop** located on the Eastern Road. You can purchase the expansion as early as your first year, but it comes with specific progress requirements.

First, you need to help the town reach **Rank 55** by accumulating enough Renown points. Additionally, you must complete the Stone Refinery repair quest, which also requires Town Rank 55. These steps are interconnected, ensuring you're ready for the expansion.

How to Build Farm Expansion in Fields of Mistria

Visit the Carpenter’s Shop on the Eastern Road, northeast of Mistria’s town center. From the shop’s main menu, select ‘Farm Expansion’ to view the requirements.

You'll need **40,000 Tesserae** to cover the cost, which you can earn through various activities like gathering, farming, and completing quests. Regularly visit the Mines, fish, and contribute to the Museum to accumulate this amount.

Next, gather **50 x Refined Stone**, which requires repairing the **Stone Refinery**. This repair can only be done after reaching Town Rank 55 and repairing the Inn beforehand.

Lastly, you'll need **50 x Hard Wood**, the easiest material to obtain. With a **Copper Axe**, you can harvest Hard Wood from large tree stumps around your farm and beyond, yielding 2 x Hard Wood each.
