While I'm personally drawn to the giant robot action (who isn't?), E.T.E. Chronicle isn't a direct Armored Core clone. Expect a pseudo-real-time battle system where you command a team of four characters. If you're looking for stunning visuals, engaging mecha combat, and a touch of gacha, then E.T.E. Chronicle is worth checking out.
