New Battlefield Release Date Confirmed by EA

Electronic Arts has officially announced the targeted release timeframe for the next Battlefield game. The company’s latest financial report indicates the shooter is scheduled to launch before April 2026.

Industry insider Tom Henderson noted that, based on EA’s typical launch cycles, the upcoming Battlefield will most likely release in October or November 2025. Still, EA has not shared a more precise launch date yet.

The development involves four of EA’s in-house studios, with plans for extensive playtesting in the near future. The team recently confirmed a closed testing initiative, inviting select players to experience core gameplay features. Their feedback will be used to fine-tune the game ahead of its official debut.

This update also clarifies the status of Need for Speed: As Vince Zampella explained earlier, don’t anticipate a new NFS title in the immediate future, since the current focus remains fully on Battlefield.
