As you jump into the Blast from the Past event, you'll be tasked with gathering intel on a mysterious visitor named Emit. This involves watching TV, scrolling through social media, and chatting with other Sims. While those steps are straightforward, the challenge ramps up when you need to track down the elusive Special Time Capsule.

You're given a hint to search for rocks in parks, which isn't much to go on. However, if you've already spoken to Emit at the park in Willow Creek, you're on the right track. Start your search there, keeping an eye out for a rock that looks like it has diamonds inside. Once you spot it, interact with it to dig up the Special Time Capsule. Be prepared to check multiple rocks, but rest assured, there are plenty around to explore.

What’s Inside of the Special Time Capsule in The Sims 4?

After successfully locating the Special Time Capsule, you'll be prompted to open it. Inside, you'll find an IOU note, which might feel a bit underwhelming after all the effort. Nonetheless, read the note and head back to Emit to unlock more quests in the Blast from the Past event.
