Chatacabra, a formidable yet manageable foe, is weak to Ice and Thunder but has no specific resistances. Notably, it's immune to Sonic Bombs. This monster primarily uses close-range attacks with its tongue, but it can also charge at you if you keep your distance. Given its smaller size, weapons like the Bow and Charge Blade may not be as effective due to their multi-hit nature, which is better suited for larger targets.

Most of Chatacabra's attacks are focused on its tongue, making the area directly in front of it the most dangerous.
