Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with significant updates, launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and unveiling a novel character type called Eidols. This month also honors the game's powerful female characters, offering players the chance to influence an upcoming Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest additions to The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a compelling storyline. Jean Grey joins the roster on March 13th, while Bastion will be available starting March 27th. Before their arrival, the Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in an exciting new quest.

The game's lore will further expand with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, will be introduced on March 5th and remain available until June 4th.
