Catch Karrablast and Shelmet in the February Community Day of Pokémon Go
Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day! Scheduled for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, this event brings two spotlight Pokémon into the mix: Karrablast and Shelmet. These Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, providing ample opportunities for you to catch them, including their elusive Shiny versions.
The highlight of the event lies in the evolution benefits. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will grant you an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles and a hefty 55 power in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will yield an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a consistent 90 power across both Trainer Battles and Gyms/Raids.
Participating in the Special Research during the event will reward you with encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, along with a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event will extend for a week following the main event. By logging in on Community Day, you'll unlock tasks that lead to more encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, complete with those special backgrounds.
Don't Forget the Bonuses
The February Community Day in Pokémon Go comes packed with enticing bonuses.
