In *Avowed*, you can obtain Hylea's Talon in several ways: purchasing it from merchants, discovering it during exploration, breaking down equipment, crafting it, or downgrading other materials.

Merchants: Lluisa Melcer & Abritt Porrya

The quickest method is to visit Lluisa Melcer at the Farmer's Market and Abritt Porrya in Piazza Mez Vidarro. These merchants, located in the early game area of Emerald Stair, sell up to 5 Hylea's Talons each for 450 coins. They're a reliable source for immediate needs.

You can also acquire Hylea's Talon by dismantling unique weapons and armor found throughout the game at your party camp's workbench.

Exploration

Similar to finding Paradisan Ladder in Dawnshore, Hylea's Talon can be discovered as a plant during exploration in Emerald Stair and other areas. Look for the distinctive plant icon on your mini-map. While exploring, actively searching for this symbol will yield a good supply of this valuable resource. Progressing through the Emerald Stair missions will naturally lead you to many of these plants.

Crafting & Downgrading

If you have an abundance of Paradisan Ladder, you can craft one Hylea's Talon using four units at your party camp's workbench. Alternatively, if you possess excess Admeth's Wyrt, you can use the "Downgrade" option in the workbench menu to convert it into Hylea's Talon.
