A new trailer for the highly anticipated TV series "Alien: Earth" has surfaced online, giving fans an exciting glimpse into what's to come. The trailer, initially showcased at Disney's 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders and shared by @CineGeekNews on X/Twitter, offers a thrilling look at the series set to premiere on Disney+ this summer.

The trailer delves into the harrowing journey of a spaceship's survivors, ravaged by a Xenomorph and on a collision course with Earth. It showcases a striking new Xenomorph design and highlights the series' aesthetic, which closely mirrors the iconic style of Ridley Scott’s 1979 horror masterpiece, "Alien." Notably, the setting includes a MU/TH/UR control room reminiscent of the Nostromo's, where the horror of the crew's predicament is fully realized.

In the trailer, a desperate crew member's plea for help is juxtaposed against Morrow, portrayed by Babou Ceesay, who coldly reports the escape of the "specimens" and labels the crew as dead, setting the ship's impact destination as Earth. The trailer then transitions to show six soldiers advancing, likely toward the crashed vessel, hinting at a grim fate awaiting them.

The trailer raises several intriguing questions: Will Morrow survive? What drives his actions? Are there other survivors? Is anyone carrying a Xenomorph embryo? And what fate awaits the soldiers?

"Alien: Earth" sets up an intense narrative where a mysterious spacecraft crash-lands on Earth. Sydney Chandler stars as a young woman who, along with a group of tactical soldiers, stumbles upon a discovery that pits them against Earth's most formidable threat.

Set in the year 2120, "Alien: Earth" is positioned within the Alien timeline after "Prometheus" and just before the events of the original "Alien." This setting has sparked fan theories that the series might explore the Nostromo's departure from Earth or shed light on Weyland-Yutani's initial encounters with the Xenomorphs. Notably, the series diverges from the Prometheus backstory, as showrunner Noah Hawley prefers the "retro-futurism" of the original films. After discussions with Ridley Scott, Hawley chose to focus on the lore established in the earlier movies.

Fans can look forward to "Alien: Earth" premiering on Hulu in the summer of 2025, with "Alien: Romulus 2" also in development, promising more thrilling adventures in the Alien universe.
