MiHoYo’s Upcoming Animal Crossing-Like Game Astaweave Haven Now Has a New Name!

MiHoYo, the Chinese developer behind HoYoVerse, is making waves with its upcoming project. Initially known as Astaweave Haven, this game now has a new name: Petit Planet. Even before a proper reveal, the game is undergoing significant changes.

If you're a fan of gacha games or RPGs, you may have already heard whispers of Astaweave Haven. While official information from MiHoYo remains scarce, the game promises a departure from the studio's usual open-world gacha formula.

Petit Planet, the new name, hints at a potential life-sim or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

The name change is a welcome one. "Petit Planet" sounds charming and suggests a management sim rather than another gacha RPG from MiHoYo.

Release Date?

The game's release remains unannounced. Astaweave Haven received approval in China for PC and mobile in July. HoYoVerse registered Petit Planet on October 31st, and the new name awaits approval in the U.S. and U.K.

Given MiHoYo's rapid release schedule (remember Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail?), we can anticipate a quick turnaround once the name is approved, hopefully revealing a first look at Petit Planet soon.
