FTS Driver App

This app tracks GPS devices and provides drivers with tools to manage work information, all accessible through a web console. Key features include:

1. Travel Itinerary Management (TMS): Plan and track product deliveries, viewing real-time location data from GPS devices or the mobile tracker, and updating delivery statuses.

2. Maintenance Log: Record vehicle maintenance, including refueling, servicing, condition checks, and repairs. Data is summarized and reported via the web console.

3. Mobile Tracker: Provides location data from a mobile device, eliminating the need for a dedicated GPS device. Location data is transmitted and stored while the tracker is active; transmission can be paused. This data integrates with TMS and Vehicle Tracking. The app requests permissions for:

• Continuous Location Access: Allows for background location tracking for convenience.
• Activity Recognition: Optimizes GPS data collection and power usage. Data collection frequency varies based on activity:
  • Still: Every 5 minutes (Power Save Mode) or 1 minute.
  • Walking: Every 1 minute.
  • In Vehicle: Every second (for accuracy), normally every 1 minute.
  • Power Save Mode: Activates after 5 minutes of inactivity and deactivates when movement is detected.

4. Vehicle Tracking: View real-time and historical location data from GPS or Mobile Tracker devices. Access device information, notification settings, daily summaries, GPS movement data (at customizable intervals), and data from additional equipment (MDVR, TPMS).

User Account: Access terms of service, privacy policy, and cookie policy.
